Olympic Track and Field Medalists

Complete lists of gold, silver and bronze medalists in all current Olympic track and field events, from 1896 through 2004. Please note that some events were not held in every Olympiad. Women did not compete in Olympic track and field until 1928. Many longer women's races were suspended until 1960, or later. The 1906 "Intermediary" Games are not generally considered to be official Olympic Games, but are included in these lists.
