Maurice Greene, 5.56. Feb. 12, 1999.

2. 55 Meters

Lee McRae, 6.00. March 14, 1986.

3. 60 Meters

Maurice Greene, 6.39. Feb. 3, 1998 and March 3, 2001. Greene is the only sprinter to hold the indoor 60-meter and outdoor 100-meter records simultaneously. His 100-meter mark is long gone, but his indoor record remains.

4. 200 Meters

Wallace Spearmon, 20.10. March 11, 2005.

5. 300 Meters

Wallace Spearmon, 31.88. Feb. 9, 2006.

6. 400 Meters

Kerron Clement, 44.57. March 12, 2005. Clement is best known as a world champion hurdler, but he broke Michael Johnson's record in the indoor open 400 while running for the University of Florida at the 2005 NCAA Indoor Championships.

7. 500 Meters

Ken Lowery, 1:00.17. Jan. 17, 1987.

8. 800 Meters

Johnny Gray, 1:45.00. March 8, 1992.

David Krummenacker, 2:17.86. Jan. 27, 2002.
